This is the Bear. He says hello.

Bear Around The World is our first campaign to help raise Funds 4 Katie, all of our efforts from this campaign are going towards building Katie her very own sensory/therapy room at home.

Bear is a very friendly bear, he is cuddly and cute, and just like Katie, he is adored by all who meet him.

Bear does not have a name, but is simply known as ‘Bear’ for many reasons really, but firstly because Katie’s younger brother and sister can say the word “Bear” and do so regularly, fetching various bears from the huge toy pile which resides in the lounge (much to Katie’s amusement , her bed fills with these toys more often than not!).

Bear will travel around the world to as many destinations, clocking up as many miles and visiting as many landmarks as he can, in between travels he will be doing other activities like Marathons, Fun Runs, Bungee Jumps and Sky Dives all in aid of Funds 4 Katie.

Photo’s and stories will be published on the website following Bear’s travels and fundraising efforts along with a world map (map still to come) marking his trips around the world.
