Bear’s Asian Adventure!!
Bear’s China adventure started with a site seeing tour of the Forbidden City, home of the emperor’s of China for centuries. He also visited the Summer Palace, but was disappointed - he’d heard all about the Chinese panda’s and hoped to meet one!
Next day one of the highlights. After a mini bus ride, Bear went trekking on the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall!

After a long flight to Lhasa in Tibet, Bear’s adventures continued with trips to The Potala Palace, once home of Dalai Lama and The Temple of Jokhang.
It was off again 3 days lter, heading to Katmandu in Nepal. Bear sat with an American on the plane, who took such a likeing to bear that he took his photo to show people back home in the States.
In Katmandu, Bear made another friend, a Holy Man who wanted to adopt Bear, but Bear had other ideas with a flight to Mount Everest the next day.
Bear had a seat all to himself on the plane, and was very excited it was a window seat as the plane flew next to Mount Everest!
Soon, Bear was off again to India, where he was very disappointed, the authorities would not him anywhere near the Taj Mahal !! (he’s only a bear!)
At Jaipur in Rajasthan, Bear saw the Palace of Winds and the Water Palace, built in the middle of the lake. To cheer himself up after the Taj Mahal disappointment, Bear got a ride on a young elephant!!
Bear had the most amazing adventure in Asia, a huge thank you to Anne for having him tag along!!! This trip added a further 12693 miles to Bear’s total, taking him over the 100k miles mark - Well done Bear!!!
