Congratulations to David Marshall, Chris Beynon & Debbie Flanagan on winning the Funds 4 Katie Raffle! Thank you so much to everyone who took part, together we raised £1276 towards Katie’s campaign to build her sensory room!

Bear is still on a mission to travel the world, and has so far travelled 57853 miles visiting many areas of the globe. Bear recently missed his flight to Jerusalem but managed to get a last minute trip to Cornwall, where he visited Lands End and also managed to stop off at Stone Henge on the way!!

After meeting McFly recently, Bear feels like a bit of a celebrity. He was even recognised by a passerby recently at Woburn Safari Park in Milton Keynes!!

He has a parachute jump booked for June 18th and a meeting with the Dirty Dancing cast in London’s West End the day after, keep up the good work Bear!!

If you would like Bear to accompany you on holiday, to an event or anywhere you think Bear will like, then get in touch, he is already planning his 2010 trips!!

After completing the London Marathon in record time (for a bear!), Bear was still on a high when he was rubbing shoulders with celebrities. Bear was invited backstage at a recent McFly concert who happily posed for a photo!!

After 8 months of travel, Bear suffered his first travelling nightmare, as many travellers do…… he missed his flight!! so unfortunately Bear missed out on a fantastic trip he’d had planned to Jerusalem! - better luck next time eh Bear!

Bear completes London Marathon!!

Bear had a fantastic time in Bermuda with Anna, Sophie and Alex. He lazed on the sandy beaches and by the pool, escaped a ducking in St Georges, watched Anna, Sophie and Alex swim with the dolphins (Bear didnt want to get his fur wet!) and even experienced an unwanted trip to the ER (hope Sophie’s cuts have healed).

Bear had a fabulous trip to Bermuda which added a further 7494 miles to his total, bringing it to a whopping 56605 miles….. but that is not all!

After ‘bearly’ touching british soil, Bear travelled a further, very important and possibly his most challenging yet, 26.2 miles, by completing the London Marathon in just 3:08:40 Fantastic, well done Bear!!

So Bear’s total now rests at an amazing 56631 miles….. until his next trip of course!!

Bear’s first trip with Katie took him to Butlins in Skegness, and they both had a fabulous time!

Unfortunately Katie’s recent health problems meant she couldnt have a splash in the huge pool but meant she could spend much more time with Bear enjoying lots of cuddles.

Together they travelled 225 miles to add to Bear’s total, now resting at a cool 49,111 miles! - but not for long!!

Bear is now on his way up to Pudsey, where he will be setting off for Bermuda!!!

Bear had a fabulous time in Keighley, where he was busy busy busy!! On his first evening he attended a party with Simone and Zoey where he met their cousins Keavey, Tiff and Shay! On Saturday he visited Nana’s house with Zoey but didnt sleep a wink on Saturday night, nervous for Sunday’s dance competition! He needn’t have worried though as Simone won 2 trophies and a medal for her wonderful dancing, Bear really enjoyed the music and loved watching Simone, Keavey and Tiff doing their dance routines, well done girls!!

Bear enjoyed going to school with Simone and Zoey, and even had his own uniform, doesnt he look smart? He enjoyed looking at the briliant art work by the pupils of St Annes and even had a lesson or two, oh how he wishes there was a school for Bears!

He was keen to join in with the St Patricks Day celebrations on Tuesday, with his great costume and pint of Guinness! Bear really did have a great time in Yorkshire and made some very dear friends in Simone, Zoey, Keavey, Tiff and Shay, and is hoping they invite him back again one day!

I must apologise for the long delay in updating you all on Bear’s latest adventures, this was unfortunately due to Katie being quite poorly with Pneumonia. Thankfully, she is now well on the road to recovery and even went back to school this week, well done Katie x

Bear’s recent escapades have seen him visit Prague the very centre of Europe, Oxford University and the beautiful ski village Anzere in Switzerland where he learnt to ski and enjoyed many a vin chaud (mulled wine to you and me!) thanks to Anmar and her wonderful friends. Bear’s next trip takes him to Keighley, West Yorkshire where he will be accompanying 10yr old Simone and her sister Zoey aged 6 to a freestyle dance competition in nearby Pudsey!! Good Luck!!
